Megacephala affinis is a species of ground beetle in the subfamily of Carabinae that was described by Dejean in 1825. The species are black coloured with brown legs and antennae. They live in such countries as Brazil, Colombia, Suriname, and Venezuela. The species are similar to Megacephala lacordairei.
