Wikipedia Abstract

Amioides polyacanthus is a species of fish in the family Apogonidae, the cardinalfishes. It is endemic to the marine waters around the Philippines where it is found down to a depth of 80 metres (260 ft). This species grows to a length of 22 centimetres (8.7 in) TL. This species is the only known member of its genus.
