Wikipedia Abstract
Monarrhenus is a genus of plants in the sunflower family. There is only one known species, Monarrhenus salicifolius, native to the Islands of Mauritius and RĂ©union in the Indian Ocean. Its natural habitat is on rocky cliffs. The species is listed as critically endangered. The genus formerly contained the species "Monarrhenus rufescens", which is now called Pluchea rufescens.
