Craugastor talamancae is a species of frog in the Craugastoridae family.This anuran is found in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panama.Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, plantations, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest. According to accounts of J.M. Savage and of C. Michael Hogan, this frog is considered to have an altitudinal niche between 16 and 646 metres. The taxon is threatened by habitat loss.
