Hardenbergia is a small genus of leguminous vines from Australia.The genus was named in honour of Franziska, Countess von Hardenberg (sister of Baron von Huegel) by English botanist George Bentham, in 1837. There are three species as follows: \n* Hardenbergia comptoniana (Andrews) Benth. Western Australia \n* Hardenbergia perbrevidens R.J.F.Hend. Queensland \n* Hardenbergia violacea (Schneev.) Stearn (False Sarsparilla, Purple Coral Pea, Waraburra) New South Wales
