Wikipedia Abstract

Common Bridle Snake (Dryocalamus nympha) is a species of snake found in southern India and Sri Lanka. The yellow mark on the back of the head suggests a bridal veil. Bridle snakes are so named because of the resemblance of their slim bodies to the reins or 'bridle' used to control horses.
