Wikipedia Abstract

Carodista trichopla is a moth in the Lecithoceridae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1929. It is found in India (Assam). The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are light fuscous, tinged yellowish near the base. The hindwings are light greyish-ochreous with the dorsal area from one-fourth clothed with appressed ochreous-yellowish hairs, a downwards directed fringe of short hairs from the median part of the disc above this.
