Wikipedia Abstract

Phiaris siderana is a moth of the Tortricidae family. It was described by Georg Friedrich Treitschke in 1835. It is found from Scandinavia south to Italy and Hungary and from France east to Russia. The wingspan is 14–16 mm. Adults are on wing from mid-May to mid-June in one generation per year. The larvae feed on Spirea, Aruncus and Filipendula species.
