Wikipedia Abstract

Macroglossum bombylans is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from Nepal through China to Taiwan, Korea and Japan, with one record from the Russian Far East. It is also found in northern Thailand, northern Vietnam and the Philippines. Larvae have been recorded feeding on Rubia cordifolia in India, Rubia akane in Japan and Paederia and Stauntonia species elsewhere.
