Wikipedia Abstract

Dolba hyloeus (pawpaw sphinx) is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It ranges throughout the eastern United States from Maine south to Florida, and west to Wisconsin, eastern Oklahoma, and southern Texas. The wingspan is 50–68 mm. Larvae of this species feed on pawpaw, as well as deciduous hollies such as inkberry and winterberry.
