Amata cantori is a species of moth in the genus Amata (or Syntomis) of the family Arctiidae ("wooly bears" or "Tiger moths"). It is found on Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo. Adults are robust and black. The abdomen is completely black and the hindwing has a small transparent spot anterior of the center.
