Syllepte banosalis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Schaus in 1927. It is found in the Philippines (Luzon, Mindanao). The wingspan is about 40 mm. The wings are hazel, suffused with olive buff. The forewings have a faint darker antemedial line below the cell, a point in the cell and a larger spot on the discocellular. The postmedial line is remote, obliquely curved and inbent below vein 3, with fine dark streaks on the veins, slightly outangled with a larger point below vein 2. The hindwings have a faint medial line, upturned below vein 3 and not reaching the inner margin.
