The Red Groundling Moth or Pied Groundling Moth (Perigea xanthioides) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from Canada to Brazil and on Jamaica. The wingspan is about 29 mm. The larvae feed on Vernonia and Eutrochium species.
