Mythimna prominens is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It was described by Walker in 1856. It is found on Malta and in Greece, France, the Iberian Peninsula and Italy. Outside of Europe, it is found in Morocco, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, La RĂ©union, Madagascar, Nigeria, South Africa and Zimbabwe. This species has a wingspan of 28-36 mm and the larvae feed on Lilium species, including Lilium multiflorum.
