Wikipedia Abstract

Epyaxa rosearia, the native looper, is a moth of the Geometridae family. It is native to New Zealand. Not much is known about the species. While it is endemic to New Zealand, the larvae have so far only been recorded feeding on naturalised plant species: Nasturtium officinale, Trifolium ambiguum, Trifolium repens', Tropaeolum majus. The larvae also seem to feed on the leaves of Trifolium caucasicum.
