The Forest Pearl Charaxes (Charaxes fulvescens) is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, the Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia. The habitat consists of dense evergreen forests at low to moderate altitudes.Occasionally inhabits savanna.
