Charaxes anticlea, the Small Flame-bordered Charaxes, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, the Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia. The habitat consists of forests, including dry forests, somewhat degraded forests and dense riverine vegetation. Both sexes are attracted to fermenting fruit and sucking-trees.
