Neptis nemetes, the Nemetes Sailer, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Burkina-Faso, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, the Republic of Congo, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Ethiopia. The habitat consists of lowland forests and riverine thicket. The larvae feed on Asteraceae species, Alchornea cordifolia and Macaranga and Alchornea species.
