Orsotriaena medus, the dark grass-brown, is a butterfly found in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australia. The butterfly has historically been called the "nigger", but it has been renamed in Australian faunal works to the socially acceptable name of smooth-eyed bushbrown.
