Wikipedia Abstract

Stigmella microtheriella is a moth of the Nepticulidae family. It is found in all of Europe. It is also present in the eastern Palearctic ecozone and the Australian region, where it is found in New Zealand (it was introduced here from Britain around 1850). The wingspan is 3–4 millimetres (0.12–0.16 in). Adults are on wing in May and again in August.
