Coleophora conspicuella is a moth of the Coleophoridae family. It is found in all of Europe, except Ireland. The wingspan is 13–17 mm. The larvae feed on Aster amellus, Aster linosyris, Aster sedifolius, Aster sedifolius canus, Centaurea aspera, Centaurea jacea, Centaurea montana, Centaurea nigra and Centaurea scabiosa. They create a relatively large, dark brown, lightly curved two-valved sheath case with a narrow ventral keel. It is about 12–15 mm long and has a mouth angle of 30-45°. Full-grown larvae can be found in May.
