Asterivora nivescens is a moth of the Choreutidae family. It is known from New Zealand. The wingspan is 16–17 mm. The head and palpi are brown densely sprinkled with white and the antennae are blackish annulated with white. The thorax is bronzy-brown, although the tegulae are spotted with white. The abdomen is bronzy-brown, but the segmental divisions are white. The legs are brown, densely sprinkled with white. The bronzy-brown forewings are moderate, the costa slightly arched, the apex rounded, the termen slightly rounded and a little oblique. The hindwings are fuscous.
