Carposina cryodana

Carposina cryodana is a moth of the Carposinidae family. It is endemic to New Zealand. The wingspan is 16–17 mm. The head and thorax are white, slightly speckled with grey. The abdomen and legs are ochreous-whitish. The forewings are elongate, narrow, oblong, the costa moderately arched, the apex round-pointed, the hindmargin straight and very oblique. They are white, densely irrorated (speckled) with pale fuscous-grey. There is a short black streak running from the base beneath the costa. The hindwings are grey-whitish. Specimens have been caught on Leptospermum species.
