Wikipedia Abstract

Cerconota myrodora is a moth of the Depressariidae family. It is found in Brazil (Amazonas), French Guiana and Guyana. The wingspan is 21-22 mm. The forewings are greyish-ochreous with three obscure rather irregular grey transverse lines, the first rather curved, rather oblique, the lower half forming the posterior limit of a triangular purple dorsal blotch, somewhat marbled with groundcolour, the second and third obtusely angulated in the middle, the space between these forming a suffused purplish blotch on the dorsal half. The second discal stigma forms a dark grey transverse mark preceding the second line and there is a fuscous terminal line. The hindwings are grey.
