Lethata anophthalma is a moth of the Depressariidae family. It is found in Brazil (Paraná, Amazonas), Venezuela, Bolivia, Paraguay, northern Argentina, French Guiana and Guyana. The wingspan is about 24 mm. The forewings are light ochreous-brown, the costal edge from the base to two-thirds, brown edged rather dark grey beneath. There is an indistinct fuscous oblique slightly excurved streak from the dorsum at one-fourth to the first discal stigma, an indistinct small fuscous spot beneath the costal edging beyond this. The second discal stigma is small, obscure and fuscous and there is a faint hardly infuscated slender line from two-thirds of the costa to the dorsum before the tornus, slightly excurved, indented above the middle.
