Gelechia thymiata is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1929. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Arizona. The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are brown, with faint rosy tinge, sprinkled darker and paler and with a small dark fuscous spot on the base of the costa. The discal stigmata are small, dark fuscous. The hindwings are grey.
