Gelechia mediterranea is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It is found in France, Spain and Greece, as well as on Sardinia and Crete. The length of the forewings 5-5.5 mm. The forewings are blackish-brown. The hindwings are greyish-brown with brownish scales. Adults are on wing from the end of June to the beginning of September, probably in two generations per year. The larvae possibly feed on Acer species.
