Wikipedia Abstract

Acanthophila alacella is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It is known from most of Europe, the northern Caucasus, Georgia and Iran. The wingspan is 13–14 mm. Adults are on wing from July to August. The larva feed on lichens on tree-trunks.
