Wikipedia Abstract

The spot-winged antbird (Schistocichla leucostigma) is a species of bird in the family Thamnophilidae. Until recently, it included the Roraiman, Humaita, brownish-headed and rufous-faced antbird as subspecies, but based on differences in voice and plumage it has been recommended treating them as separate species. As presently defined, the spot-winged antbird includes the subspecies infuscata, subplumbea and intensa.
