Wikipedia Abstract

Psalteriomonas is a genus of amoebae in the group of Heterolobosea. The genus name is derived from psalterium, which means harp, referring to the novel harp-like structure found in transverse sections through the MTOR (microtubule-organizing ribbon) and the connecting microfibrillar bundle.
