Halichondrites elissa (sometimes mis-spelt Halicondrites) is a monospecific genus of sponge known from the Middle Cambrian Burgess Shale. 7 specimens of Halichondrites are known from the Greater Phyllopod bed, where they comprise < 0.1% of the community.
