Chenoprosopus is an extinct genus of temnospondyl amphibian.Chenoprosopus resembles the European genus, Archegosaurus. Of the Permian amphibia found in the United States, Chenoprosopus most resembles Cacops though it differs in the smaller nostrils and in their posterior position.
