Micrelenchus is a genus of small sea snails that have shells with pearly interiors and an operculum. They are marine gastropod molluscs in the family Trochidae, the top snails or top shells. The genus name has become a synonym of Cantharidus Montfort, 1810 This genus is only known to occur in New Zealand.
