The grey-browed brush finch (Arremon assimilis) is a species of bird in the Emberizidae family. It is found in the undergrowth of humid forests, especially near the edges, at altitudes of 300 to 1,200 metres (980 to 3,940 ft) in the Andes Mountains of Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and most of Peru.
