Wikipedia Abstract

Sphenocichla is a genus of bird in the Timaliidae family. They are stout birds with strong legs. The bill appears pointed when viewed from the side but has a wedge shaped appearance when viewed from above. The rounded tail has twelve feathers and there are no rictal bristles. It contains the following species: \n* Sikkim wedge-billed babbler, Sphenocichla humei \n* Cachar wedge-billed babbler, Sphenocichla roberti
