Wikipedia Abstract

Megalurulus, the thicketbirds, is a genus of songbirds. Previously placed in the "Old World warbler" family Sylviidae, they do not seem to be a close relative of the typical warblers. More probably, they belong in the newly recognized grass-warbler family Locustellidae. This genus contains the following species: \n* New Caledonian thicketbird or New Caledonia grassbird, Megalurulus mariei \n* New Britain thicketbird, Megalurulus grosvenori \n* Bougainville thicketbird, Megalurulus llaneae \n* Melanesian thicketbird, Megalurulus whitneyi \n* Rusty thicketbird, Megalurulus rubiginosus
