Styposis

Synonyms: Cyatholipulus

Wikipedia Abstract

Spiders in the genus Styposis are small and unpigmented with fairly long legs, and measure less than 2mm in total. Most species have six large eyes, unlike most spiders of the family Theridiidae, which have eight eyes. The anterior median eyes are always absent or minute. The genus differs from the otherwise similar genus Archerius, which also has six eyes, by lacking the large colulus and by being less sclerotized.
