Nesocharis is a genus of bird in the Estrildidae family. Established by Boyd Alexander in 1903, it contains the following species: \n* White-collared oliveback, Nesocharis ansorgei \n* Shelley's oliveback, Nesocharis shelleyi \n* Grey-headed oliveback, Nesocharis capistrata The name Nesocharis is a combination of the Greek words nēsos, meaning "island" and kharis, meaning "loveliness".
