Xanthomaculina is a genus of lichenised ascomycetes in the large family Parmeliaceae. It is a genus of only three currently accepted species, found in Africa. Xanthomaculina lichens have an umbilicate growth form. Synapomorphic characters for this genus include: a unique cortical chemistry, an umbilicate growth form, distinctive conidial morphology, the presence of cilia, and a vaulted cortex.
