Wikipedia Abstract

Antrodiella is a genus of fungi traditionally classified in the family Phanerochaetaceae of the Polyporales, although molecular studies suggest that the Steccherinaceae is a better familial placement. The genus contains about 50 species of polypores. The genus is a wastebasket taxon, containing "species that share common macroscopic and microscopic characteristics, but are not necessarily related."
