Established by Jean Cabanis in 1850, it contains the following species: \n* Blue-mantled crested flycatcher (Trochocercus cyanomelas) \n* Blue-headed crested flycatcher (Trochocercus nitens) The name Trochocercus is a combination of the Greek words trokhos meaning "circular" or "round" and kerkos, meaning "tail".
