Clinocottus is a genus of sculpins, nearshore benthic fishes native to the northeastern Pacific Ocean. They are mentioned as sharpnose sculpins. Molecular data indicate that this genus is polyphyletic or paraphyletic, it does not constitute a natural assemblage within Cottidae.
