Wikipedia Abstract

The striped crake (Aenigmatolimnas marginalis) is a species of bird in the family Rallidae. It is the only species in the genus Aenigmatolimnas, having formerly been included in Porzana or in the defunct genus Poliolimnas. Its precise relationships, however, are still enigmatic. It is found in Algeria, Cameroon, Comoros, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, Italy, Kenya, Libya, Malawi, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
