Acrocarpus fraxinifolius, the pink cedar, is a large deciduous emergent tree native to Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand in the family Fabaceae, subfamily Caesalpinioideae. Its also known as Balangi or Kurungatti in India.
