The spotted killifish (Nothobranchius orthonotus) is a species of fish in the family Nothobranchiidae. It is found in Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. It grows to 10 cm (3.9 in) total length. Its natural habitat is temporary pools. It is locally threatened by insecticides and habitat loss.
