Hakea clavata is a Western Australian shrub. A common name for the species is Coastal Hakea, the epithet clavata (Latin) refers to club-shape of the leaves. The shrubby species is spreading or sprawling in habit, up to 2.5 metres wide and 0.5 to 2.0 m in height. The flowers are white and pink, appearing between January and October on the terminals of the branches.
