Rhododendron phaeochrysum (栎叶杜鹃) is a rhododendron species native to western Sichuan, southeastern Xizang, and northwestern Yunnan in China, where it grows at altitudes of 3000–4800 meters. It is a shrub that grows to 1–4.5 m in height, with leathery leaves that are oblong-elliptic to ovate-oblong, 5–14 by 2–5.5 cm in size. Flowers are white to pale pink, with purplish spots.
