The Pacific geoduck (/ˈɡuː.iˌdʌk/ GOO-ee-DUCK), scientific name Panopea generosa, is a species of very large, edible saltwater clam in the family Hiatellidae. The common name is derived from a Lushootseed (Nisqually) word gʷídəq.
